چکیده
Laser ablation-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) is capable of metal imaging by acquiring local spatial information. However, the preparation an appropriate standard for quantitative analysis difficult because matrices between and sample should match, homogeneity concentration in required. Hence, aim this study was to establish a highly mercury method that utilizes LA-ICP-MS consisting rat tissue. Our showed homogeneous good linearity signal intensity, met qualifications LA-ICP-MS. Mercury MeHg-exposed kidneys obtained measurement (7.84 ± 0.57 µg/g) comparable cold vapor atomic absorption spectrophotometry (AAS, 7.27 0.46 µg/g). The results indicate enabled with standard.

The dependence of analyte sensitivity and vaporization efficiency on the operating parameters of an inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (ICPMS) was investigated for a wide range of elements in aerosols, produced by laser ablation of silicate glass. The ion signals were recorded for different carrier gas flow rates at different plasma power for two different laser ablation systems and c...

The aim of the study is to better understand where uranium deposits in mice kidneys. The spatial distribution of uranium was examined in the kidneys of C57BL/6 mice using laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS). Mice were exposed to varying levels of uranyl nitrate in their drinking water. Calibration standards were developed to allow for semi-quantitative measur...

consequences of mercury exposure were recognized from prehistory to the present. The first emperor of unified China who came to power in 221 B.C., Qin Shi Huang, reportedly died of ingesting mercury pills that were intended to give him eternal life. The severity of mercury's toxic effects depends on the form and concentration of mercury and the route of exposure. Although its potential for toxi...
